So In Love, Falling in Love, Wedding Card, Anniversary Card

I found this gem on Pinterest and I just had to make it.  I LOVE the "So in Love" stamp set and matching die. I love almost any set that has a matching die!! LOL  But this card allowed me to use up more of my "Falling in Love" Decorative Series Paper (DSP).  You can see the Pinterest post here.

It's a pretty simple card to make too.  The base of my card is a folded half sheet of Sahara Sand.  Though I think the original card maybe Tip Top Taupe.  Either way, it's pretty. Then I cut a piece of Sweet Sugarplum cardstock to 4" x 5-1/4".

Next I die cut the lacy looking flower piece from the "So Detailed" Thinlits.  What's nice about this one is there is a lip that is die cut so you can add your tape there and stick it to your card. So what I did was I taped up my die cut piece and set it in place on the edge of the 1-3/4" x 5-1/4" piece of the "Falling in Love" DSP.  Then I taped the rest of the DSP and set that in place on the Sweet Sugarplum cardstock.  I added a ribbon to hide where the two pieces meet.  Then I taped that whole piece onto my card base.

I took a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock and stamped the words from the "So in Love" set.  I used Tip Top Taupe ink.  I had used Sahara Sand ink but it was too light.  Then I die cut the oval out using the "Stitched Shapes" dies.

I stamped off the Sweet Sugarplum ink twice using the flower image and then stamped on my Very Vanilla oval.  Then I added the little bud images and again stamping off twice.  I stamped the leaves using Tip Top Taupe ink.  I set the oval in place using Dimensionals.  And that was it.  I told you it was easy!!!

It can be used for a wedding or an anniversary.  So versatile.  Now I need to find more cards to use up my "Falling in Love" DSP.  I still have an unopened package!!!  I'm on a quest to use up my stuff before it retires!  The DSP is retiring as well as the stamp set.  I will be adding them to my web store sometime in the near future.  This was a fun card to make and I just LOVE the colors.

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
