I never knew how fun these kits in the Stampin' Up! catalogs were until I went to Terri's "Designer Tin of Cards" kit class. The tin had everything you need to make 16 cards. There's dividers in the tin plus sequins, Washi tape, paper clips, and Baker's Twine. You bring your own tape. Dimensionals and glue dots were provided.
We sat at a table and sorted out the items in the tin. Then we stamped the words we wanted on each of the focal pieces. Then we went back to our table to assemble. Terri is SO organized with these events. It was a great time and I LOVED putting these cards together. It was nice not to have to stand at the paper cutter or try to figure out what colors to use. The kit came with a little brochure that showed the finished cards. I LOVED it!!!
This is one of the cards from the tin. Yesterday I posted a card I made using this layout. I will be honest with you here. When I saw that card base with that wild design, I was not thrilled. It was SO loud and busy, too busy for me. But when that angled cut piece went over the top of it, that card all of a sudden became my favorite one in the kit!!! Funny how that works out, isn't it? LOL You can see the card I made using this layout by clicking here. The measurements for the card can be found there too so you can make your own!!! I'm going to look for some other colors of the decorative papers that go together and come up with a few more cards. It's SO fun!!!
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
