Teeny Tiny Wishes, Bloomin' Hearts Thinlit Die, Anniversary Card

I found this stunning card on Pinterest and had to make it. The original card can be found here.  I did change it a bit.  I didn't add the ribbon because I didn't have any, plus it's more expensive to send the card through the mail with a bow tied on it.  This card does have pearls on it but if you put a piece of chipboard (cereal box cardboard) on top, it goes through the mail.  Be sure it's not more than 1/4" thick or you'll have to pay more.  And it needs to be one ounce or less.

This is a very simple card to make.  The base of the card is a folded half sheet of Whisper White.

The silver paper is cut 4-1/8" x 5-3/8".  The Whisper White layer on top is cut 4" x 5-1/4".

I die cut 3 large flowers and 4 small flowers.

The words are from the "Teeny Tiny Wishes" set and I stamped them using Basic Gray ink.

I taped the Whisper White piece on top of the silver.  To make sure the center heart stuck I used glue. I take my glue and spread it on a piece of waxed paper. Fold the waxed paper in half and use your bone folder to get a nice thin layer of glue. Make sure it's large enough for the piece that needs glue. Open up the waxed paper.  Set your piece on it. Put another piece of waxed paper on top and press the piece into the glue.  Remove the top piece.  Bend the bottom piece until your piece lifts up and then pull it gently off the waxed paper.  Be careful with this piece since it's so lacy.  I removed mine slowly and it didn't rip at all.

I added a double flower to the left of the words and called it "done"!  See, I told you it was simple!!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
