I had some fun coloring today. I used the small flowers from the "Falling for You" set in the 2017 Occasions catalog. I colored them in using a blender pen and Rich Razzleberry ink. It was fun until I had to color in the other 3 cards I needed to make. Yup, I needed 4 get well cards. But it's better than needing 4 sympathy cards. After I colored in the flowers, I stamped the green wispy image using Old Olive ink. Oh, I forgot to mention, I did not cut the card stock until I was done coloring. I tend to keep my images inside the lines and when I stamp first, I get that look of going off the edges. I like it but I don't always remember to do it, so I just stamp first and then cut. Plus if you really mess up a card, you didn't spend any time cutting it first!!! After stamping I cut the Whisper White piece 4" x 5-1/4".
Next I cut a strip of Rich Razzleberry card stock 1/2" x 5-1/4" and I taped it in place on the edge of my flowers.
I used the "Botanical Builders" dies and cut out my flower using the Sweet Sugarplum cardstock. The center of the flower is Rich Razzleberry. The leaf is cut out of Old Olive. The center of the flower is a 1/4" punched circle of silver glitter paper.
The words were done on my computer. And yes, I'm still working on getting these fun words into my store for those of you who have emailed me. I will post on here when they are available for sale as a download so you can print as many as you wish in different colors of cardstock!!!
I prefer making one card and not a bunch at one time but all in all, I do like the card and I really like the colors.
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
