Cool Treats, Birthday Card, 2017 Occasions Catalog

Today I'm going to share with you one of the cards I made last night at Terri's FABULOUS Stamp a Stack.  

I LOVE the Watermelon Wonder and Peekaboo Peach together.  The decorative paper is from the "Tasty Treats" Designer Series Paper (DSP).  I don't have that paper so I won't be making any more cards like that but I have other retired papers that I can use to make cards similar to this and use up some of that stash I have.  UGH!!  I need to get cracking and us the papers instead of hoarding them.  Plus, when you use DSP, you cover a lot of the card with a printed design so you don't have to stamp as much!!!  A big DUH there!! Think of the time I would save doing that!!!

This was a fun card to make.  We used the "Banner Triple" Punch.  We punched first and then stamped our words.  How smart is that??  I usually stamp and then punch and then punch off my wording!  The words were set in place using Dimensionals.  Three rhinestones were added under the words for a little bling!  I LOVE it!  Such a fun card!!!  It's great for any age too!
