So, it's onto something new and different. I wanted this set because it reminded me of the "Seaside Sketches" that has long been retired (I still have my set but will soon be parting with a lot of my retired sets). It could be that it was the same artist. I don't know, I knew I liked it and wanted to play with it.
I used some "Pop of Pink" Washi tape for the strips on the left side and bottom.
Then I stamped the image and cut it with the oval Framelit. I was disappointed though, I wanted a Melon Mambo Oval scallop behind it but there wasn't one large enough. Bummer. So I ended up sponging the edges. Not the look I wanted but it has to do.
The words were done on my computer using the Curlz and Cambria fonts. I am planning on making a PDF purchased download with a number of sentiments on it. I had ones in my store that went well with the 1-1/4" circle punch but it's time for something new. It will take a while because I have a TON of things going on and it's only January!!! LOL I'll post it on here when it's ready.
This was a very fun and easy card to make.
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
