I still had the "Detailed Santa" and "Greetings from Santa" sets sitting out. Nothing new, I'm known for not putting stuff away!!! But they were on the top of the piles and it caught my eye. I still feel I need to play with them a bit more before Christmas. When will I learn that I don't need to buy everything in the catalogs that I see!!! LOL I need to figure out how much time there is before they retire and work from there!
This was fun to make and I actually played with two of the other dies in the set, the stars and that angled line. On that angled line I added a strip of the red glitter paper behind it. I die cut some red glitter paper stars and glued them in place on the black area.
The base of my card is a folded half sheet of Whisper White. I die cut the Santa and I added a piece of glitter paper behind it. I taped those two layers in place on a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic Black card stock, and then that was taped in place on the card base. It was simple enough to make and quick too.
