Today's card is a beautiful Christmas card using the "Star of Light" stamp set. My friend Katie brought her set to my house and I played with it for a little while. It's such a fun set. I am SO in love with that tar and dotted swirl. It's absolutely stunning.
For this card I used a folded half sheet of Whisper White card stock for the base. I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock 5" x 3-3/4".
I embossed the star swirl and the words using Versa Mark and Gold embossing powder.

The star was cut using the matching die and gold foil paper. To glue my star in place, I took some white craft glue and put some on a piece of waxed paper. I folded the waxed paper in half and used my bone folder to spread the glue evenly across the waxed paper. Then I opened it up and set the star on the glue. I took another piece of waxed paper and pressed it on top of the star to get a better coverage of glue on the back of the star. I took off the top piece of waxed paper and tossed it. I picked up the piece of waxed paper with the glue on it and bent it a little so the star would pop up so I could remove it easily. I set the star in place on my embossed piece.
I put some Dimensionals on the back of the Whisper White focal piece and that was it. Super easy and a very quick card to make. Isn't it pretty?

Thank you Wanda not only for your beautiful card but for your great idea of the glue and wax paper technique. This will definitely save me time since I am in the midst of gluing pine boughs to several Christmas cards.
