I was surfing the net for more cards to make using the "Cookie Cutter Halloween" set. I just feel like I need to get a little bit more use out of the set before I put it away. I'm sure it will be retired. Which is too bad, it's a very fun set to pay with.
I found this card at "Artistic Designs by Rachael." You can see her card here.
I tried to find the words for this card but I didn't have them. Then I read that Rachael used her computer to type up the wording. SO I grabbed a piece of card stock and put it in my computer. I found a color that was close to the Dapper Denim. I could have looked up the RGB code but I figured I could find something close and get by with it, and I did.
I used the "Gorgeous Grunge" splatter for the background. I used Pumpkin Pie ink and on the Dapper Denim ink, I stamped off once (but not on the Pumpkin Pie color).
The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Pumpkin Pie card stock. A strip of Dapper Denim is added to the side and Whisper White is used to fill in the rest of the front.
A paper doily was added after the stamping. A swirl from the "Swirly Scribbles" thinlits die wa added.
I had to fussy cut the crow. The strip that it is sitting on is a piece of the decorative "Hallowee Nights" paper. I didn't have any orange ribbon. The scarecrow was stamped, punched and colored and then added using Dimensionals. And that was it. Super easy. Super cute. And super fun!!
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
