Did you ever buy a stamp set that you really had no use for but just had to have it? Well, that is what I did with the "Pretty Kitty" set. I LOVE cats and I just HAD to have this set. I had it on my wish list but it was way down toward the bottom. I only wanted it because it had cute kitties on it. So today I thought I would make a card with it, after all I bought the set to use, right????
I colored in my image using markers, except for the kitty, I used a Smoky Slate marker and a blender pen. I didn't want the kitty to be too dark.
The decorative paper is from the "Serene Scenery" 6" x 4" decorative paper stack. The back side of that pretty green piece is the dotted piece. One side of the paper is a photographic image and the other side is the regular type of colored images we are use to seeing. It's kind of fun to mix the two.
The words are from the "Pretty Kitty" set. I thought I would send this card off to a friend who's been having a lot of things going on in her life all at once!!! I'd be overwhelmed but she's strong and is hanging in there.
This was a fun card to make and I do not regret buying the set. I'm hoping to play with it more, but with the holidays just around the corner, I'm thinking it won't be until January that I will be playing with it again.
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
