I'd better get a move on the August Paper Pumpkin Kit. I have hardly put a dent in it and the next one will be here in about 2 weeks. YIKES!!! Too much to do this time of the year and it keeps getting worse until after Christmas. Such a busy time.
Today's card is from the August Paper Pumpkin Kit. I changed it up a little bit to give it a bit more of a color punch. I used Tangerine Tango for the base of the card because it matched the color in the one panel behind the focal panels.
I had to laugh when I was following the directions for part of the card. It had you wrap 36" of the thread around your hand. I have very small hands and I wasn't taking that into consideration when I was wrapping. I got all done and went to set it on the back of the piece and it was totally gone. Nothing at all was over lapping on the sides. I need to find some other form to wrap things around when they tell me to wrap things around my hand.
The cute little flower came in the kit. I did add a few tiny little pearls on the Crumb Cake type colored piece.
It was fun playing with this card. I like how it turned out and I am hoping to find more time to play with some other ideas I have for this kit.
