I found a pretty sympathy card at Kathy's Blog. I liked the soft subtle look of the card. Kathy used the retired Lost Lagoon for her colored card stock. I didn't have any left so I got out a piece of the Mint Macaron and was pretty pleased with how it looked.
The words are from April 2016 Paper Pumpkin kit. Hmmm, I just remembered I have not put my May kit together yet. I guess that's a project for this coming weekend.
Anyway, back to this card. The flowers are from the Botanical Builders. I find I'm using the Framelits more than I am using the coordinating stamp set.
The flowers are set in place using Dimensionals. I added the centers of the flowers and the leaves with small glue dots. Pearls were added to the center of each flower and it just finished off the flower nicely!
I thought this was a fun card to make and I do like how it turned out, even if it's not Lost Lagoon or a sympathy card. I need to see if I have any current sympathy sets. Mental notes all over this post!!! LOL I am really liking the Mint Macron color.
