Do you have lots of Washi tape left over from the last catalog and occasions catalogs? Me too. I never seem to use them up. Many of them look like I've barely put a dent in them. I got to play with the new "Playful Palette" Washi tape today. I really like these fun colors.
To compliment the tape I added a Watermelon Wonder "Blossom Builder" flower on top of the tape. The leaf was made using Mint Macaron card stock. I chose to put the green striped tape on the outside of the three strips because I was adding the green leaf and I wanted it to be more visible and not blend in and get lost.
The words are from the "Wetlands" set and were stamped using Mint Macaron ink.
The base of the card was cut at the 4-1/4" mark on the short side and then folded in half. This card opens from the bottom. I cut the top layer 5-1/8" x 3-7/8". I set the top panel in place using Dimensionals. Now that I look at this card, I think I should have added a layer of Mint Macaron behind the top layer for a little more contrast. Oh well, it is what it is. And I am okay with the way it turned out.
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
