I was thinking of making a birthday or a thank you card. This one settled it for me. I can use it for either!
I used a folded half sheet of Whisper White card stock for the base of the card. I took a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of card stock and stamped the "Hardwood" image using Soft Smoke ink.
I stamped the flower from the "You've Got This" set using white embossing powder. I colored it in using So Saffron ink and a blender pen. I colored the center using Calypso Coral. When you color on something that was embossed, be sure to use a paper towel or tissue to wipe off any excess ink or it could get on the side of your hand then transfer to your paper. So as a rule of thumb, I always have a tissue ready.
For the stem I used the Thinlit circle dies and cut a 2-3/4" circle. I stamped only the stem of the flower on it using Pear Pizzazz ink. I colored in the stem using the Pear Pizzazz marker.
I took a scrap piece of Wisteria Wonder and stamped the butterflies. I punched them out and set them in place with Dimensionals.
It was an easy card to make and now I have a fun birthday or thank you card to mail out this weekend.
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
