Today I thought I would play with the "Rose Wonder" set and the matching "Rose Garden" Thinlits dies. This is one set I am not all that thrilled with as I am with some of the other ones. Perhaps that is why I have not played with it much.
I used the thinlit dies and cut the flowers out using Basic Black card stock. I cut my top layer of Whisper White card stock at 4" x 5-1/4". I added a 3/8" x 5-1/4" strip of the silver glitter paper. The reason I cut it that width was because it was from a piece that had lots of punched items from it and there was just that was what was available, so I used it! You can make that strip any size you like. I used glue to set it in place. The new tear away tape would probably work well too, but I don't have any yet.
I then glued the flowers in place, along with the leaves. I did trim the leaves after I glued them in place. The flowers were set in pretty much riding along the edges of the card stock.
The words are from the "Rose Wonder" set. I stamped them and then punched then out with the large oval punch. I punched out a scalloped piece of the silver glitter paper and glued the words to it. I set that in place on the card using Dimensionals. And that was it. A SUPER easy wedding card!
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
