A Perfect Pairings and Gorgeous Grunge Birthday Card

While looking at the piles of stuff in my workroom for some inspiration, my eyes spotted the Washi tape.  Another item I don't use often enough.

What to do with it?  I added a border of two strips on the left side of a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White card stock.  I used the Happy Birthday from the "Perfect Parings" word set. Under the words I used two more strips of Washi tape.  The tape I used is from the "Cherry on Top" spools.   

Before I added the horizontal pieces of tape, I stamped the splatters using the "Gorgeous Grunge" set and Watermelon Wonder ink.  I punched out a Bermuda Bay balloon and tied a piece of Baker's Twine to it.  I took my chalk marker and added a little curved line at the top left to give the balloon some dimension.  I also set it in place using Dimensionals.

I put Dimensionals on the back of the Whisper White piece and set it on top of a folded half sheet of Bermuda Bay card stock.

This was a very quick and simple card to make.  I am really liking the fun colors in this card!
