Today's card is a bright and cheery card!! It's got a very celebratory festive look to it. I was looking through my "Cherry on Top" decorative paper stack and saw a piece of this dotted heart paper. I was going to use the whole piece but decided to cut it up into trips and lay it out on top of the Daffodil Delight piece. I took another piece from that pack (which was actually a scrap piece) and laid it across the dotted strips. I had a flower cut out in my stash and added it to the front. I dug deeper in my die cut stash and found more lower components! YAY me!!! When I cut out flowers for a card, I add pieces of card stock and cut out other flower. Why not? You're cranking the machine, you might as well fill up the plate! Then when you want to make a card or need to make one in a hurry, you have pieces already cut out and ready to go.
The base of my card is Tempting Turquoise, and so is the flower. The center of the flower is Watermelon Wonder and Daffodil Delight. I added a pearl to the center and viola, it was done!!
The words are from the "Balloon Celebration" set. I liked how they looked with this layout! And tha twas it. Pretty easy and very colorful. When I look at it, it creates a happy feeling for me!! Bright and cheery!
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
