A Perfect Pairings and Botanical Builders Framelits Birthday Card

I found a card by Wendy at "Luvin' Stampin". I wasn't able to go directly to her post.  I did find her card.  But if you go to her dot com site you can see this card and any details she has about it. I'm not sure why I was not able to click on her post title and get the whole link.  But you can still get there the long way!

I changed the card a bit too.  I used Real Red instead of the pink color that Wendy used.  And I changed the words.  Though I do need a thank you card, I wanted to make a birthday card instead. I see a lot of potential for this card.  I can see adding some flowers from the "Botanical Blooms" set.  I may have to play with that idea.  But not today or tomorrow. I need to play with some of the other sets I bought first.  Though I do have to admit the "Botanical Blooms" and matching framelits is my favorite.  

I do love red, black, and white cards.  When I saw Wendy's card, I knew I wanted to try it in these colors.  They are just striking.  

This was a simple card to make.  It has a clean and simple look too.
