This time of year I often forget I have other stamps sets than just Christmas. I'm in the Christmas mode right now (and mood too) and I forget that I have other non-Christmas sets.
Today I was in need of a birthday card. I'm actually getting it out in the mail tomorrow and if the USPS is not too bogged down it will actually get to my friend's house on her birthday! An on time card. I haven't done one of those in a long time!!! LOL
I used the "Wild about Flowers" set. I have the clear stamp set. I like it but there are times I still get things crooked. I'm talking about the flowers. Okay, fine. The words too!!! Gosh!!! I thought I had them lined up just right and when I removed the stamp from the paper, UGH! it was crooked! But it's handmade!! It's for a friend who stamps and will understand!! LOL
All it in all it was a fun card to make. I LOVE Washi tape and I forget I have that too. I think if the Washi tape wasn't there the crookedness of the words wouldn't be so noticeable!
This set makes it easy to whip up a card in a short amount of time.
I used Bermuda Bay for the base of my card. Wild Wasabi for the green stems and Hello Honey for the flowers.
