I guess all snowman card don't have to be a Christmas card. There are just plain winter cards. It could be use for a winter birthday or a thank you card. And of course it could be used as a Christmas card.
The pretty snowflake paper is from the "Home for the Holidays" 12" x 12" paper pack. I set it in place on top of a folded half sheet of Night of Navy.
I took some Whisper White card stock and tore it to make the snow drifts. I sponged them with Night of Navy. I taped them on top of the snowflake paper and then sponged all edges. Then the fun began.
I stamped all the pieces from the "Snow Place" set and cut them with the coordinating dies from the Snow Friends die set. I colored in the head band using the Real Red marker. And I colored the noses with the Pumpkin Pie marker. Oh and the rosy cheeks were colored in using the Pirouette Pink marker.
I used Chocolate Chip for the brown. I stamped the hat twice because I didn't think the ink was dark enough. I think my Chocolate Chip pad a bit off. It doesn't match the color from the old fabric pad.
The words are from the same set! It was a fun card to make, it kind of reminded me of those vinyl cling forms that I use to play with as a kid. Dating myself, I know!!!
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
