A Festival of Trees Work of Art and Petite Pairs Christmas Card

I wanted to play with the "Work of Art" set and I wanted to play with the "Festival of Trees".  I forgot that it was not retired and it was being ignored because of all of the other new things I was playing with. It's kind of hard to go back when there's so many new things to play with.

This was actually a fun and simple card to make.  I stamped Old Olive ink and then moved the stamp up for a total of 4 images.  I didn't like how washed out the second and third image was so I stamped again at the bottom and them moved the stamp up two more times.  I did that for a total of 3 times.  I eyed the image.  It was okay if it didn't line up perfectly. I didn't want it to.

Then I stamped the tree using Memento black ink.  I stamped the image and moved it over just a touch to the left.  I cut it out and layered it using Old Olive cardstock.

The words are from the "Petite Pairs" set.  I stamped them using Memento black ink and I used the oval punch. I used the oval scallop and Old Olive cardstock.

I also textured the background with the new "Softly Falling" embossing folder.

This was a super easy and fun card to make.
