Oh, What Fun Corner Flip Card Technique

I wanted to play with that fun "Corner Flip" technique again.  You can find the detailed instructions for it here.  The more I make cards using this technique, the more easier it is.  It's not difficult in the first place but like with anything, the more you do it, the easier it gets.  And quicker too!!  I marked my cutter with a sharpie so I don't have to hunt for the measurements.  I just go from mark to mark and I know I get it right each time!

For this card I used Real Red card stock.  I textured it with an embossing folder.  I added a trimmed piece of Whisper White in the background.  I took a piece of decorative paper from the "Home for Christmas" 12" x 12" decorative paper pack.

The words are from the "Oh, What Fun" set.  I stamped the "from Santa" using Real Red ink and punched it out with a 2" circle punch.  Then I used Real Red card stock and punched out a scalloped circle.  I set them in place on top of the decorative paper using Dimensionals.  My challenge here was that when I cut my scalloped circle, I didn't get the punch all the way on the paper so one of the tips of the scallop was flat. So I had to plan for it to be behind Santa's hand!  I pulled it off!!!

Next I fussy cut out Santa from the "Home for Christmas" 12" x 12" decorative paper pack. I set him in place with Dimensionals as well.

The "Ho Ho Ho" is from the same set and I stamped them using Wild Wasabi.  I wished I would have stamped the "From Santa" using Wild Wasabi instead.  It's not very colorful up there on that part of the card. Oh well, what's done is done, but if I were to make another one I would use the green on the top and  bottom words.

And that was it.  It's festive looking!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
