A Love and Sympathy Card

On a more serious note, I needed to make a sympathy card today.  It's sad to have to make one any time but this time of year seems to be more a difficult time.  

For my card I used the "Love & Sympathy" set.  It has all you need to make a card.  There's even words for the inside.  I have not made a sympathy card in a long time and I struggled with this one a bit.  

I decided to use Cherry Cobbler and Mossy Meadow for my colors since they are more of a winter color but yet pretty.  I colored in the image with markers and then stamped it on Whisper White card stock.  

I stamped the words and punched them out with the large oval punch.  I had some other brand of oval dies so I used one for the layer. I think it's a bit too thick but it worked just the same.

I used an embossing folder to texture the background. It needed something, and that was it.
