UGH!!! I was saving this card to post on Thanksgiving day and I totally forgot it. I had moved it (see why you should never clean your workroom?) and I it was out of sight. Out of sight, out of mind!
This was one of the cards that was in the swap I participated in earlier this month. It is the half circle pop up technique. It's a very fun technique and I LOVE how much fun you can have with that pop up. The instructions for the card can be found here.
This card was made by Shelly. I LOVE the wood grain. It went so well with the acorn and Thanksgiving theme.
I like making these fun cards. The instructions are easy to follow too!

A Love and Sympathy Card
On a more serious note, I needed to make a sympathy card today. It's sad to have to make one any time but this time of year seems to be more a difficult time.
For my card I used the "Love & Sympathy" set. It has all you need to make a card. There's even words for the inside. I have not made a sympathy card in a long time and I struggled with this one a bit.
I decided to use Cherry Cobbler and Mossy Meadow for my colors since they are more of a winter color but yet pretty. I colored in the image with markers and then stamped it on Whisper White card stock.
I stamped the words and punched them out with the large oval punch. I had some other brand of oval dies so I used one for the layer. I think it's a bit too thick but it worked just the same.
I used an embossing folder to texture the background. It needed something, and that was it.

An Oh, What Fun Christmas Card
This is another one of those "They can't all be winners" cards. I'm not thrilled with how this turned out. Actually, I wasn't sure what direction I was going with it in the first place, but this is what I ended up with. UGH!! UGHLY!!! LOL
I fussy cut the Santa from the "Home for Christmas" 12" x 12" decorative paper. The green background paper is from that same pack. And the words are from the "Oh, What Fun" stamp set.
I'm not sure what I could do to this card to make it better. Santa almost looks like he's on a magic carpet!!!
I just shake my head at it. I have no idea what I was thinking here!. I promise I won't do it again!!! LOL
Thank you so much for bearing with me here,

A Wetlands and Happy Happenings Masculine Birthday Card
I found this fun masculine card made by Sharon Graham at Split Coast Stampers. I haven't surfed around on their site in a while. I wasn't looking for anything in particular but when I saw this fun card, I just had to make it. You can see the original card here. The words I used came from the "Happy Happenings" set. I wanted to use words from a current set and I found ones that fit that space!
I like simple cards for guys.
For the stamped birds, I took a piece of card stock cut 1-3/4" x 1-3/4" and I put post it notes all around it on top of the Whisper White card stock. I removed the card stock in the center and then sponged on some Sahara Sand and Soft Sky. Then I added the Crushed Curry and that is when I saw the greens come out of the mixture of colors. I removed the post it notes, which was a mistake. I then put the post it notes back on and stamped the birds. I used Memento black ink but I should have used Early Espresso. I stamped the weeds and the words using Early Espresso ink.
I cut the white piece 3-7/8" x 5-1/8". I cut the Early Espresso 4-1/8" x 5-3/8". I layered those two on top of a folded half sheet of Sahara Sand. I was kind of glad the card stock used here was Sahara Sand. I think I'm still on the first pack I bought when that color was introduced. I don't use it much at all!
This was really a quick card to make. And such a great masculine card!!! I think it would make a wonderful Father's Day card or even a masculine Sympathy card.

Gorgeous Grunge Pencil Notepad Stocking Stuffer
I found a fun notepad but I didn't want to go through all of the work and steps to make it. You can see my inspiration here.
Instead of cutting lots of pieces of paper and clipping them together and gluing the end, I opted to take a finished scratch pad and work from there.
I took my scratch pad and measured it. Once I got my measurements, I cut my Crushed Curry cardstock the same size as a piece of the pad paper.
Next I took a piece of paper off the pad and folded it in half and then folded that half in half. I marked those folds on my cardstock and lightly sponged the edges. Don't fold the score lines, just lightly bend them to sponge. I sponged all edges too. Set the piece aside.
Then I cut a piece of Cajun Craze the same width as my pad. I scored it at 1-1/4" and I folded it over to the back of the pad. Then I scored that mark the fold made. You may want to try this piece with some scrap copier paper. I didn't make my Cajun Craze long enough to cover the entire back of the pad. After finishing it, I wished I had. But I can always add a piece to cover the back. Anyway. I glued the Cajun Craze to the back of the pad.
Next I glued the Crushed Curry piece to the inside of the Cajun Craze piece.
I cut a piece of Smoky Slate 3/4" wide and long enough to fit the top of the pad. I stamped the broken lines from the "Gorgeous Grunge" on top using Smoky Slate ink. I glued that in place and the pad was done!
These would make a great stocking stuffer. They would also make great teacher or student gifts!

An Oh, What Fun Christmas Card
Oh my, I can't believe how quick this card went together. I am pretty sure I found it somewhere on the net. The 4 punched out circles are decorative paper and the words are from the "Oh, What Fun" stamp set and Mossy Meadow ink. It's all done on a folded half sheet of Whisper White card stock. And that's it.
I don't think I've done such a short post ever!!!

A Sleigh Ride Edglets and Petite Pairs Christmas Card
I was surfing the net and found a fun card that was laid out like the card I have here. The dies were not Stampin' Up! but there was a tree and maybe another tree on the second layer. I don't remember. I tried to find the card but all I got off the net was that the card was found here at Elsea Designs. I looked through the blog for a while but didn't find the card so I gave up.
The original card had snowflakes embossed on the left side where I did the silver punched stars.
For my background I used Pacific Point ink and then I misted it with water and added table salt. While I was putting the rest of the card together, the paper had a chance to dry. I just used Whisper White card stock, not watercolor paper. But the watercolor paper would work well too.
This was a fun card to make. Maybe because of the fun layers I got to play with. You know me and layers!!! I LOVE them!!!
Thank you Marymaci for finding the original card, that was sweet of you to hunt it down for me. Please send me your snail mail address and I will send you the card I made. You can find my email address on the right sidebar. It's the second item "Got a Question".
You can view the original card here.

A Cozy Christmas Christmas Card
This card is the last one out of the 5 that I made at Terri's wonderful Christmas 2015 Stamp-a-Stack.
The words are from the "Cozy Christmas" set.
We used the "Home for Christmas" decorative 12" x 12" paper on the left side of the card.
The base of the card is Mossy Meadow as well as the ink we used.
The card stock is Very Vanilla and the piece the words are stamped on measures 2" x 4". We stamped the words and then added the ribbon. The piece was then taped in place. And that was it. Another super quick and easy card!!! You have to have some of those now and then. There are times I love spending a lot of time fussing on a card. Making LOTS of layers, and coloring. And then there are times that I don't want to do a whole lot but yet I still want to have a nice card in the end! It all balances out!

A Home for Christmas Reindeer Christmas Card
Here is another card I made at Terri's FABULOUS Stamp-a-Stack. This was another fun card. Not quite as quick as yesterday's card though. Fussy cutting the deer took the quickness out of making this card, but I didn't mind the cutting. You didn't have to be perfect because the deer went on Very Vanilla card stock and any vanilla that was showing from the decorative paper blended in. Sometimes I just like to sit down and cut designs out. And since the last card went so quickly, it was nice to sit and do a little cutting!!!
The decorative paper measures 5-1/4" x 1-1/2". The tags were 4-1/4" x 2" before punching the one end. At the bottom of the Very Vanilla tag is a piece of red glitter paper that was cut using the Washi Tape punch.
Oh and don't forget that cute nose. It's a rhinestone that was colored with a red Sharpie marker and set in place!! SO darn cute!!! I had a lot of fun making these cute cards!!! I just LOVE this adorable reindeer. I need to use it more on my cards. It's going to retire after Christmas and it will be gone!!! I hate it when I don't use up my papers. I still hoard!!! UGH!!!

An Every Blessing Christmas Card
Today I am going to share with you a card that I made at Terri's Christmas Stamp-a-Stack. I just LOVE the simplicity of this card. It was super easy to make but yet the image provides a big punch!
The image was stamped using Night of Navy. A silver glitter paper star was added with a mini glue dot and that was it! Super simple and super quick. If I didn't already have my Christmas cards planned out and already started, I would have used this one. It's kind of sad though. If I had used this card I would be done with my cards by now! Oh well!! That's the way it goes!!!
This card has a fun layout too. The card was cut on the short side of a full sheet of card stock (at 4-1/4") and then folded in half. The front panel was cut at 2-1/8". The front panel is made using Whisper White and Smoky Slate card stock. The Smoky Slate was cut 3-1/4" x 4-1/4". And the Whisper White piece was cut 3" x 4". There is also a 3" x 4" piece of Whisper White card stock on the inside for your sentiment. The two top panels were taped together and then taped to the left side of the card. You may want to mark it before you tape it in place so you don't get tape everywhere. I so often mess up making these cards. I tend to tape that whole stamped piece and then find out as I'm setting it in place that it is now stuck, not only to the front but also to the inside! Yay me!!! LOL This time I was mindful of what I was doing and I was able to just tape to the left side only!!! Happy me!!!
These were fun, easy, and SUPER quick to make!!!

A Woodland Textured Lovely as a Tree Guy Greetings Masculine Birthday Card
Today's card was from the swap at Terri's Tuesday night. This card was made by Tanya. She used the "Woodland 3-D" technique. I thought it was a fun technique. Though I thought it took a long time to use the brown marker on the tree bark. So I opted not to use this card in my swap. Hind site, this technique didn't take as long to do as the Pop-up one I did.
You can find the instructions for this fun technique here.
I love the looks of this card. What a perfect masculine card!

Half Circle Pop-up Technique Birthday Card
Today I would like to share with you one of the cards I received in Terri's Technique Tuesday night swap. I was in awe when I saw this card that Mary made. It's absolutely stunning. It's one of those cards that make you feel good when you look at it. I want to keep it but yet I should use it. I don't know how that one is going to turn out!!! LOL
This is a fun card to make but it does take a little bit of time. You can find the instructions to do this technique here.
I don't know what set the words are from, obviously I don't own it!!!
The decorative paper is from the "English Garden" 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper pack.
I think the base of the card is the new in color Mint Macaron. With the colors of those flowers, there's lots of options for the color of the base of your card, if you don't have the Mint Macaron.
I thought the flower on the inside was from the "Flower Shop" set but it's not. It is probably with the set where the words came from. But the "Flower Shop" set would too!
Give one of these cards a try! They are fun if you are not making a bunch of them in one sitting!

A Happy Scenes Half Circle Pop Up Technique Christmas Card
Today I am going to share with you the card I made for the swap tonight at Terri's Technique Tuesday night. I like this technique but it sure is a lot of work and time. Perhaps it's the theme I chose or I was slower than normal because the TV was on, I don't know. I just thought 9 cards took a long time to make. When I make cards that take a lot of time, I always feel sand when I'm completing the last one and thinking I wished I would have made more. But then I come back to reality and am happy that I'm done with the project!!!
For my card I used the "Happy Scenes" set, the Window die, Decorative Dots embossing folder, and the Seasons of Cheer decorative paper.
I stamped the trees using Night of Navy. I sprayed a mixture of distilled water and Marina Mist ink over the area, masking off the snow on the ground. I glued it to the back of the window. I set the window in place using Dimensionals.
I textured the Night of Navy background and added a piece of decorative paper at the bottom. I covered the seam with some ribbon. Then I taped the piece onto a folded half sheet of Whisper White card stock.
On the inside I worked the technique. You can find the instructions for that technique here.
I stamped some snowflakes from the "Happy Scenes" set on the inside panel. And I also used the word "Peace" from the same set.
I liked making this card but I was really happy when I was done. I can't wait to share with you the swaps I get tonight!

A Flurry of Wishes Christmas Card or Winter Card
Today I am going to share with you another card I had made at Terri's FABULOUS Christmas Stamp a Stack.
This was a very fun card to make. The photo does not do this card justice. The decorative paper is from the "Home for Christmas" 12" x 12" paper pack. It really does match the snowflakes but not in this photo!
The snowflakes are from the "Flurry of Wishes" set and they were stamped using Pool Party ink. They were punched out and then set in place using Dimensionals.
The background is the new "Softly Falling" texture folder. It's SO pretty. I don't have many current folders anymore, so I did have to order that one. I hope it's in the new catalog!
I had fun making this card. I even stamped on the inside of it, which is something I don't usually do! When I was assembling my card, which is what I do last, after all the stamping, cutting, etc. is done. I don't usually do the stamping on the inside because I often get the front put on upside down!!! I did that later that evening on a different card!! I didn't want to disappoint myself!!! LOL I even stamped on the envelopes!!! I was on a roll. I had a great time and am looking forward to the next one in January!!

A Wetlands and Softly Falling Birthday Card
Today I needed to make birthday cards for my twin sister-in-laws. I thought I would play with some scraps of decorative paper from the "English Garden" 12" x 12" paper pack. I used the words from the "Wetlands" set and the "Softly Falling" embossing folder for the background.
This was such a super quick card to make. I used a half sheet of Whisper White card stock for the background. I added a layer of Rose Red and then the textured piece.
The flower panel was cut 4-1/4" x 1-3/4" and the layer of Rose Red was cut 4-1/2" x 2".
The flower panel was cut 4-1/4" x 1-3/4" and the layer of Rose Red was cut 4-1/2" x 2".
The words are from the "Wetlands" set and punched out with the large oval punch. The layer behind was done using the oval scalloped punch. The layers were set in place using Dimensionals.
And that was it! SO quick and super easy!!!

A Sparkly Season and Oh, What Fun Christmas Card
I found this fun card at "Stampin' Pretty." I thought it would be a fun card to make. I actually had the image (because I stamped some extra before giving my sister her set back!!). I had the decorative paper. I didn't have the same words, though I really didn't want to make a think you type Christmas card.
The base of this card is Cherry Cobbler. Then a piece of Very Vanilla, Mossy Meadow, and the decorative paper from the "Home for Christmas" set.
I colored in the nutcracker and packages pretty much using the same colors and on the card I saw. I set it in place using Dimensionals.
The words are from the "Oh, What Fun" set. I stamped them using Mossy Meadow.
This was a fun card to make. It did have lots of pieces to it but I didn't mind!! LOL

A Petite Pairs and Flower Shop Christmas Card
Today I used a piece of scrap decorative paper for the package. I happened upon this bow thing by accident. I had the scrap piece of decorative paper from the "Home for Christmas" 12" x 12" paper pack. I had shoved it aside and it ended up partially on top of a stamped and punched flower from the "Flower Shop" set. The color wasn't right but I dealt with that later. When I saw the paper on top of the flower they way it was, I though how pretty that would look as a bow. And the rest is history!!
I added the green strips of Garden Green card stock to the "package". The words are from the "Petite Pairs" set and I set them in place using Dimensionals. I also put the package and "bow" on using Dimensionals.
The background was done using the "Softly Falling" embossing folder from the Holiday catalog.
It was a fun card to make!!! I am thinking that a green border behind the top layer border would have looked nice, but it is what it is!!

A Winter Wishes Christmas Card
Today I'm going to share with you a card I just made at Terri's FABULOUS Stamp a Stack. This is from the "Winter Wishes" set.
I LOVE the fun elements of this card. We had some fun punching to do.
The gold glittered snowflake was set in place using a Dimensional. I added the pearl to the center when I got home. I like it but without the pearl, it would be an excellent masculine holiday card!
I have some more cards to share with you from Terri's Stamp a Stack but first I have other things I'd like to show you first, so come back tomorrow to see it!!!

Oh, What Fun Sleigh Ride Edgelits Die Christmas Card
I really like this new "Oh, What Fun" word set. I have so many word sets but this Christmas one is fun. I did not buy the word set that goes with the "Sleigh Ride" Edglits Dies. I thought about it but this new set gave me more bang for my buck.
I found this fun card at Jackies "Klompenstampers" blog. You can see her card here. She used the word set that goes with the dies and you can see how nice they look on the card too.
This was a fun card to make and very easy too. I started out with the folded half sheet of Whisper White. Then I cut the silver glittered piece 5-1/4" x 4". Then I cut 2 pieces of Whisper White, Night of Navy, and Soft Sky to 5" x 3-3/8". I set the sleigh ride person on the white and cut it out. Then I taped it in place. Next I cut the Night of Navy piece. I didn't tape it to the Soft Sky. I lined up the Soft Sky and then cut the trees. I taped it in place and then I taped the 3 layers to the 2nd Whisper White piece. I glued that piece to the glittered piece. Tape doesn't seem to stick very well on all of that glitter. And lastly I stamped the words. Kind of dumb. I should have done them before I glued the pieces together. What if I would have messed it up? Oh well, it turned out and I'm happy with it.

Oh, What Fun Corner Flip Card Technique
I wanted to play with that fun "Corner Flip" technique again. You can find the detailed instructions for it here. The more I make cards using this technique, the more easier it is. It's not difficult in the first place but like with anything, the more you do it, the easier it gets. And quicker too!! I marked my cutter with a sharpie so I don't have to hunt for the measurements. I just go from mark to mark and I know I get it right each time!
For this card I used Real Red card stock. I textured it with an embossing folder. I added a trimmed piece of Whisper White in the background. I took a piece of decorative paper from the "Home for Christmas" 12" x 12" decorative paper pack.
The words are from the "Oh, What Fun" set. I stamped the "from Santa" using Real Red ink and punched it out with a 2" circle punch. Then I used Real Red card stock and punched out a scalloped circle. I set them in place on top of the decorative paper using Dimensionals. My challenge here was that when I cut my scalloped circle, I didn't get the punch all the way on the paper so one of the tips of the scallop was flat. So I had to plan for it to be behind Santa's hand! I pulled it off!!!
Next I fussy cut out Santa from the "Home for Christmas" 12" x 12" decorative paper pack. I set him in place with Dimensionals as well.
The "Ho Ho Ho" is from the same set and I stamped them using Wild Wasabi. I wished I would have stamped the "From Santa" using Wild Wasabi instead. It's not very colorful up there on that part of the card. Oh well, what's done is done, but if I were to make another one I would use the green on the top and bottom words.
And that was it. It's festive looking!

A Sparkly Season and Sleigh Ride Christmas Card
I really need to learn to take better photos. The words at the bottom are really straight and there is not that big of a gap between the top and the bottom of the blue showing. It's the angle of the card and camera. It's me!!! But even if it were crooked, I know that you would make yours straight!! LOL
This was a fun card to make. It looks much better in person. The globe has a window sheet on top of it. I used the "Sparkly Season" set to make the snow part inside the globe. I had taken a clear block and inked it up with Pacific Point. I misted it and then stamped directly onto my Whisper White card stock. Then when it dried, I stamped the snow using Whisper White Craft ink. I cut it out with the 2-3/8" Circle Framelits Die.
Next I used my "Sleigh Ride" Framelits Dies and cut out the sliegh and horse image. I set the sleigh piece over my snow background circle and lined it up to where I wanted it and I taped it in place. Then I cut it out using the 2-3/8" Circle Framelits Die. I also cut a Window Sheet using that same die.
The base of the globe was stamped using VersaMark and I embossed it using silver embossing powder. I taped it to the bottom of the globe.
The background snowflakes was made using the snowflake image from the Perpetual Calendar set. I stamped off on each snowflake. That piece was cut 3-3/4" x 5". I set the globe in place using Dimensionals.
The words are from the "Happy Scenes" stamp set. I trimmed them up and rounded the corners with a circle punch. I added Dimensionals to the back and was just about to set it in place when I noticed how light it looked. It would get lost. It needed a layer. So I cut a 5/8" piece of Pacific Point card stock and then I added the words on top of that. Then I taped that piece to the card.
I layered the focal piece on top of a piece of Pacific Point that was cut 5-1/4" x 4". And the base of the card is Whisper White.
I do like how this card turned out!!! It's about time! Sometimes I feel like I've lost my Mojo. I've copied so many other cards on the net and sometimes I can't be creative or think up my own cards! I did surf the net and I managed to come up with this!!! YAY!!!
Thank you ever so much for stopping by today,

Shadowbox Card Tutorial using A Sparkly Season Snowman
Grab a cup of coffee or two, or maybe even the whole pot. This card took a while to make. I knew it wouldn't be quick but I didn't think it would take as long as it did. Perhaps because there wasn't much for measurements for the front and inside. Even after the amount of time it took to make this card, I REALLY want to make another one.
I found the inspirational card here at Rica's Haven. She has great step by step instructions for the base of the card. Once you get the base done, you are on your own for the decorating.
I cut those angled strips 5-1/16" long. On my next one I will be cutting them 5-1/8" long. Trim them at a 45 degree angle. The easiest way to do that is to just fold up the bottom corner and line it up with the adjacent edge, forming the angle. Cut or trim off that folded corner. Repeat for the other end. Or you can take that piece you cut off and use it as a pattern. Repeat for the remaining 3 pieces.
For the inside of my shadowbox, I used a 3-1/2" x 3-1/2" piece of Whisper White card stock. I stamped the snowflakes from the "Perpetual Birthday Calendar" set. I used Soft Sky ink.
Next I stamped the snowman and punched him out. You can find the instructions for the snowman here. I made a card using him and I referred to it to remake him for this card. Once I got the snowman done I set him in place using Dimensionals. I then added some clear rhinestones to the snowflakes in the background. I didn't add them before because I didn't want to bury any of them behind the globe or globe base. I wished I would have added a window sheet circle to the snowman before I added the green and red ring. It would have given it a better globe look. Maybe I should start using removable tape. I always find more I could have or should have done after the card is all put together!
The front looked pretty bare. I inked up the "Let it" using Night of Navy ink and I punched it out using the 3/4" circle punch. I layered it with a 1" Night of Navy circle. I stuck it to the upper left corner with a small glue dot. I tied a bow of Real Red (retired ) ribbon and added it to that corner as well. The bottom right corner has the word "snow" from the "Seasonal Frames" Thinlits Dies. I made two of them and glued them together. I wanted them to be a little bit thicker so they would be more stable.
On the inside I added a piece of decorative paper from the "Season of Cheer" 12" x 12" decorative paper pack. I added a 3-1/2" x 3-1/2" piece of Whisper White to the top of it. I stamped the words "Tis the Season" from the "Peaceful Pines" set. I stamped it using Night of Navy ink.
I was SO glad to get this card done! As I was looking at it I thought how cool it would be to make another one!!! Now that I knew what I was doing and also I have the measurements for the top angled strips. I will probably be making one before the end of the holiday season!!! These are definitely a hand delivered card!!! Plus they measure 5-1/2" x 5-1/2". I will need to get out my envelope board. I don't know how to use it very well, I rarely play with it.

A Your Presents Christmas Card
My sister let me babysit her stamps while she was on vacation. I was so busy that I didn't get to play with them much at all. She did ask me to play with the "Your Presents" set. She was stuck on what to do with it. Well, it wasn't one of my choices from the catalog. In other words, it was one I didn't think I could work with. I took the stamp set out and looked at it for a while and just wasn't coming up with anything. SO I Googled it and found a fun and easy card by Mary Fish. You can see her card here.
I don't know what she used for the center package, she didn't leave any instructions. I took the one image, stamped it using Real Red and then I trimmed it down to fit.
The "Joy" circle was punched out using the 2" circle punch.
It's one of those clean and simple cards. Though I think I would have added a piece of Soft Sky behind the front panel to give it a little more color. I do like the white on white but I think it would be a nice touch. I can't add it because that panel was set in place using Dimensionals. I don't have a lot of luck removing things that are set in place with Dimensionals. Dimensionals stick SO well!!
This was a fun card. I thought about making these for our yearly Christmas card. Taking a break from my usual snowman cards. I'll have to think about it. The presents were cut out by hand. UGH!!! I'll have to really think about it!!

Blissful Bouquet Paper Pumpkin and Gorgeous Grunge Card
Since I still had the Paper Pumpkin stuff sitting on my worktable, I thought I'd make another card using it. And then maybe take it off my worktable. You can only imagine how messy my worktable is. It's a 6' table with a small spot in the center where my stamping mat is. I'm surrounded by "stuff". It needs to be cleaned off again!!! UGH!! Who makes such a mess on it??? LOL
For this card I used Cajun Craze for the base of my card and Whisper White for the top layer.
I stamped Cajun Craze ink using a stamp from the "Gorgeous Grunge"set and I stamped once, then moved it down, stamped, and them moved it down one more time and stamped again. I LOVE the colors!
Then I inked up the flower and stamped it using Memento black ink. I also stamped the stem and leaves using the same ink. After seeing how the flower doesn't show up very well, I was wishing I had used a lighter color. But I had wanted to keep with the fall colors. Perhaps Pumpkin Pie ink would have been a better choice! I will keep that in mind if I ever make another one.

A Sheltering Tree Masculine Birthday Card
I still had the "Sheltering Tree" set on my worktable (it's still on my table!) from the other day, so I thought I would play with it. Almost all of the leaves are off our trees and the yard is pretty much raked up. Not much of fall left in our yard! But I can still have fall on my cards!! We even had a little snow last week. I melted as soon as it hit the ground but it was white coming down!!! Anyway, the yard has a few leaves so it still looks like fall out there!
I stamped the tree using Chocolate Chip. Then I stamped the leaves using Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie. Then I added some splotches of leaves using Cajun Craze.
I used the same colors for the ground. I added a rake and a swing and it was done.
The words are from the "Happy Happenings" set. I should have stamped them in black, the Chocolate Chip isn't showing up very well.
I thought it would make a wonderful masculine birthday card

It was a fun card to make and a pretty quick one too. I used this set earlier this year to make a spring card but I never did make a summer one. If I leave it on my table long enough I will be able to make a winter card with it!!! LOL

A Sheltering Tree Perpetual Calendar Happy Happenings Masculine Birthday Card
I found this fun card on Pinterest and I thought I would give it a try. It's close enough!! I should have cut the strip piece thinner. Mine is cut 1-3/4" x 3-3/4". If I were to make another one I would cut it 1-1/2" instead.
I took that strip and taped it on the card with removable tape. Then I stamped the tree. I removed the strip, layered it and taped it in place. Now the smart thing to do here would have been to stamp the leaves first!! Did I? No!! I stamped it right on card front. I got a little of the Cajun Craze color on the front but I managed to make it work.
My leaf colors are Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, and Cajun Craze. The tree was stamped using Chocolate Chip but it looks more like dried out Early Espresso. I had to recheck my ink pad and it is Chocolate Chip but it's not the correct color. Hmmm. I may have to order another ink pad. Or I may just get an inker and rinse out this pad. I've done that before. Just make sure you allow it to dry completely before you add the ink. I think I left mine for 3 days. Not because it took that long but I was busy doing other stuff and I forgot!!! LOL
The leaves here are from the "Perpetual Calendar" set. The tree is from the "Sheltering Tree" set and the words are from the "Happy Happenings" set.
I thought it was a fun and simple card to do. And quick too!!
