This was one of the fun techniques that Terri showed the Technique Tuesday group. I was amazed at how easy it was to make and how fun too!
First we brayered inside the "Woodland" texture folder. We inked up the side with the wording printed on the other side. I call that part the top of the folder. So you ink up the inside top piece.
Next we stamped the trees using Mossy Meadow. This tree is from the "Lovely as a Tree" set. My trees should have been stamped more on the blue instead of so much over the trees.
Now this part I didn't care for but it adds SO much to the card that you REALLY do have to do it!!! We took a Chocolate Chip marker and colored on the lines in the bark of the trees. It is okay to over color, it just adds to the beauty of the tree.
Next we placed our card stock on the clean side of the folder. Make sure it's moved away from the fold about 1/4". Hold it firmly and close the folder. Run it through your Big Shot. Trim up and layer as desired.
I think this would be a great Father's Day card and a nice Masculine Sympathy card.
Isn't this a cool technique? I've seen it done with the car from "A Guy Greetings" set!! I like that look too!
Thank you SO much for stopping by today,
Wanda
