Embellished Ornaments Christmas Card

Okay, SO the tenacious side of me that just doesn't like to give up made me use the "Embellished Ornaments" set again.

First I cut out the Cherry Cobbler lacy ornament. Then I cut out a gold foil solid piece.  Then I cut out a small Garden Green piece.  I glued all three of those pieces together and set them aside to dry while I decided on a layout.

I found a piece of scrap white and thought if I layered it with some Garden Green card stock.  In doing that it made me realize that the base of my card will have to be Garden Green.  I added a piece of decorative paper from the "Merry Moments" paper stack.  I'm kind of fond of those large colored polka dots!!!  And I had a scrap piece of the red dotted decorative paper so I trimmed up the ends and layered it on top of a strip of Garden Green.  Before I affixed it to the large polka dotted paper, I tied a piece of ribbon to it.  

Next I proceeded to embellish the bulb with pearls.  LOTS of pearls.  And then I set it in place using Dimensionals.

I'm still not thrilled with the set.  I'm off to surf the net for more inspiration.
