I finally returned the stamp sets and dies back to my sister. It was fun playing with them. Some of the sets I struggled with, others the ideas just flowed. This was one of the sets I had troubles with. This bulb in particular. I had cut the bulb out using the dies. I used Cherry Cobbler for the back of the bulb and gold foil for the front. I affixed the two pieces together and set it aside for a few days. I had no idea where I was going with it. Then I had my pearls out for some other project so I thought I would add some pearls to the bulb to dress it up. I did that and ended up setting it aside for a few more days. I was just totally lost. I was once again playing with another project and had a scrap piece of the Mossy Meadow and it ended up behind the bulb. The piece you see on the card was the actual scrap piece. I liked how it looked behind the bulb. Though I am thinking it would have looked better using the Cherry Cobbler behind it instead of the Crumb Cake. Oh well, what's done is done!!!
Once I had that strip done the rest was easy. I had a scrap of the large dots from the "Merry Moments" 6" x 6" stack. I have used that stack more than I've ever used any of them that I've purchased!!! It's about time!!! LOL
The words are from the "Petite Pairs" set and I used Old Olive on the scalloped oval. I added some texture to the background and viola!, it was done! Finally!!
