I don't make too many landscape cards, most of mine are portrait. I don't know why I do that, I guess my mind must be set on cards opening from the right to the left and having the fold on the left. Though I could make landscape cards open that way too!!! I don't know why I do the things I do. No one knows!!! LOL
Today I wanted to play with some scraps of decorative paper and they happened to be from the "Moonlight" paper pack. It's still almost a full pack of paper. UGH!!!
This paper happens to coordinate with the newest in colors too. SO my flowers using the "Flower Shop" set are done in those colors. I used Hello Honey and Tangelo Twist for the flowers. The leaves are from the "Crazy about You" set and I stamped them using the Mossy Meadow pad. It looks more like a very dark Old Olive. And the words are stamped using black Memento ink and the "Wetlands" set. I taped the flowers to the word panel and then set that in place using Dimensionals. I added some large half round pearls to the center of each flower to complete the card.
This was a fun card to make. I like the colors, though they are a bit fall looking. I am still wanting to make the soft pastel spring colored things. But the decorative paper was the color factor here!!
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
