I just got this fun "Kinda Eclectic" stamp set and I thought I would play with it. I bought it mostly because of the sun spray image but do you see that here?? LOL I still had my Thinlits Butterfly dies out and I thought it would be fun to make a butterfly with something fun in the background.
These leaves seemed to be the perfect thing. I was leaning more towards flowers but these leaves caught my eye. I used Mossy Meadow to stamp the leaves. I stamped the center one first and then I stamped off on the other two. To hide where the three end stems meet, I stamped the leaves on some scrap card stock and cut one out. I taped it in place and viola, the stems were covered and the leaf looks like it's part of the image.

The butterfly was cut using Lost Lagoon card stock.
The words are from the "Wetlands" set and they were stamped using black Memento ink.
I added some pearls down the center of the butterfly to give it a bit of a punch. It's pretty alone, but it needed something.
This was a super quick and easy card to make!!! As I look at it here, I'm thinking it would make a nice sympathy or get well card too.
