I guess I ended up using more stamp sets here than I listed. The Pear Pizzazz background image is from the Work of Art set. The Flowering Flourishes image was stamped using black Memento ink. The flower is from the Flower Shop set and was stamped using Melon Mambo ink. The center of the flower was stamped using Daffodil Delight ink and punched out with a 1" circle punch. And the words are from the Wetlands set. There, I think that covered all of the stamp sets used here.
This was a fun card to make. At first I struggled but once it dawned on me not to let the thread go between the two pieces of acetate then it all went well.
The instructions can be found at Split Coast Stampers. There are step by step instructions and a video tutorial as well. I prefer the step by step ones because my hands are usually full of something and I don't want to be touching my keyboard to pause a video. I know, I could just wipe off my hands but sometimes I have to rewind and try it more than one time. So that is why I'm all for step by step (illustrated) instructions!!!
I did change my piece a little too. I didn't use buttons for the pull cord. I used two pearl halves and stuck them together with mini glue dots.
I liked making this card and I can see myself making another one in the future!!!! Head on over to Split Coast Stampers and play along!! It's always fun to learn a new technique!!
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
