Every since I discovered how to use my Thinlits with waxed paper the other day, I've been having fun with them. Finally!!! I like the two layers of waxed paper technique the best. And I do check to see which side the wax is on before I run the piece through the Big Shot. It's important. Just use your fingernail to see which side is waxed! Just remember to keep the wax off your card stock and you're good to go!
Once I got the letters cut I stamped the background using the Gorgeous Grunge set and Real Red Ink. I inked the image up, stamped once and then stamped again on the card. I did that twice. Then I did the same with the bigger spot image.
Then I took the heart from Work of Art and stamped it on a scrap piece of Whisper White card stock and punched it out with the 1" circle punch. Then I punched out a 1-1/4" piece of Basic Black card stock and layered the heart on it. I set that piece in place using a Dimensional.
The letters were glued in place because taping them was too difficult. Glue was SO much quicker and easier.
That panel was set in place with Dimensionals on top of a folded half sheet of Whisper White card stock. And that was it. Very simple and quick too!
