My get well card is a week overdue, maybe a week and a few days!!! I was busy making other cards that I forgot that I had needed a get well card. UGH!! So today I thought I would sit down and make one.
I used the Crazy About You set for the flower and the leaf. I stamped the flower using Crisp Cantaloupe and the flower using Pistachio Pudding. I'm going to miss these colors, they will be retiring in a few months.
The words were done on my computer. You can go to my web store and purchase the PDF file of 10 different words. They print out on separate pages (24 words per page). I print them out and cut them in 4 and keep them in envelopes. Sometimes I'm ambitious and punch out a quarter sheet of them and then they are ready in the envelope. But most of the time I just punch what I need when I need it. Though it is great to have them all pre-punched, it makes it much quicker to just grab and tape!!! The PDF is not very expensive and you can print and use as many as you like for any projects you make. You can even print them out for your classes!!!
Okay, back to my card. I used the paper doily! I thought I should use them more on my cards. I have this sinking feeling that they will be retiring too! The center of the flower is a 1/4" circle of Daffodil Delight card stock. I wanted to add a pearl but I didn't want to pay the extra postage. I even thought of a Candy Dot but I thought of that about 2 sentences ago!!! LOL
This was a fun and quick card to make. I think I may make some as Mother's Day cards!
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
