I have not been feeling very creative these past few days. Ever since I saw the new Occasions and Sale-a-Brations catalogs I could think of nothing else. I couldn't wait until the 6th to order some fun stuff from those catalogs. I especially love the "Lotus Blossom" set and I've seen some very pretty cards made using it.
My order arrived today and I dug right in. This was the first set I took out. I was sad because the case it came in was cracked but I'll just get a request in for a new one. At least the images were fine.
I took out some Cherry Cobbler card stock and ink and began. I had remembered reading on how to stamp with this set. It's a bit backwards to me but I followed what I had read. You stamp the darker image first. That would be the smaller image. For the second image I stamped off once and for the third image I stamped off twice. It was very easy to use, plus the stamp set has tabs so you know which direction you have stamped the image. This one was stamped with the tab straight up. I used the stem image and Pear Pizzazz ink. And that was it. The stamping went SO quickly. Though I did practice on a piece of card stock first to get the feel of what I was doing.

The words are from my computer. I used a small strip of Cherry Cobbler decorative paper and I used the "Dotted" embossing folder on the Cherry Cobbler card stock.
This was a very simple and quick card to make. I should have found some Valentine's Day words for the front. It would make a perfect Valentine's Day card. This image could also be great for a thinking of you, get well, Mother's Day, and even a sympathy card. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this set!!!
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
