I found out today that my aunt died. She'd been battling Alzheimer's and a few weeks ago she fell and broke her pelvic bone. From there she just went downhill. She lived a very long and full life (well until the end when the quality just wasn't there). But before that she had a wonderful life. I remember hearing stories of her and her husband rollerskating a lot and they were even asked to join the Roller Derby! I could never see her doing that. She's such a short and tiny person. Plus she didn't like violence. She lived across country from us so we didn't see her very often. But none the less, it is still sad that she is gone.
So I went down to my workroom and made this card to send to my cousin.
I used the "Love & Sympathy" set to make this card. I also used Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive ink. I colored directly on the rubber with the markers, huffed on the image and stamped it.
I kept it simple because that was the way my aunt was.
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
