A Bloom with Hope Birthday Card

This card was fun to make.  I found the strip of textured Whisper White background paper and thought I would add it to the card I was going to make today.  I don't remember where it came from and I suppose I could look back on past cards made and maybe figure it out but it really doesn't matter.  It's a scrap piece and I'm going to use it!!!

I stamped the leaves using Pear Pizzazz ink.  Then I stamped the flowers over it using the black Memento ink pad.  I colored in the flowers using the Blendabilities markers Rich Razzleberry pack.

I used Perfect Plumb on the layer behind the focal panel.  I wished I would have used the Rich Razzleberry card stock but I opted for the Perfect Plumb because the flowers were not as dark as the card stock so I thought I would stick with the lighter color.  But it's ok, I still like the contrast.

The decorative paper is from the "In-color" paper pack.  I need to use those more, I end up with lots of paper left by the time these retire.

This was a super quick and simple card to make!

I often get asked for measurements so I will give you the focal piece measurements, the rest you can pretty much figure out for yourself.  That piece measured 3" x 3-3/4".  The Perfect Plumb layer was just 1/8" bigger all around.  The textured panel measures 2" x 4-1/2".  There, that should get you going on this card!!!

This is a very versatile card too.  It can be used for quite a number of occasions such as Mother's Day, Get Well, Thank you, Thinking of You, and even a Sympathy card.

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
