Yup, yet another masculine card. It just seems that there are not enough of them out there. This one is very colorful and festive looking too. I never seem to have enough masculine cards. But at Terri's Stamp a Stack last week I made several! So I think I'm good for the rest of the year!
This card was very fun and quick to make. We used Night of Navy card stock for the base of the card. Whisper White was used for the Angled Tag Topper piece and Real Red was used for the stars. I did order that star punch! I don't have the Sea Street set or the wonderful Maritime Designer Series Paper. But I'm sure down the road I can find something else to work if I want to remake this card.
I especially love the layout. It's got a very clean and simple look to it.
The background was stamped using Night of Navy ink and the anchor stamp. It's a very simple and super quick card to make. Ok, it was super quick because Terri cut all of the card stock for us!!! But even if you have to cut it yourself, it wouldn't take that long.
Tonight I'm off to help Terri with your Technique Night group and I will be participating in the swap. I actually had time to make some cards!!! It helped that we had a month off too!!! LOL It sounds like I'm a month behind on things. Please let me reassure you, it is WAY beyond a month!!! LOL
Thank you SO much for stopping by today,
Wanda
