When I was at Terri's Stamp a Stack last week I took some pictures of the card samples she had on display. This one was changed a little bit, only because I couldn't stop!!! LOL
The original card has two sets of zig zag strips. I just kept going until it had faded to almost nothing. Plus the original card had a heart stamped on it and the words "Just for you." I don't know who made the card and I don't have a link to it since it was from a display board. But if it sounds familiar you can email me and I can take a look at it and see if it's the card in question and then I can give the artist credit and a link back to their blog.
Ok, onto this card. I used Whisper White for the base of my card. Then I used the in color markers, Coastal Cabana, Crisp Cantaloupe, and Baked Brown Sugar. I stamped the image from the "Gorgeous Grunge" set. I moved it down until I just saw the last image and stamped again. I repeated that two more times. I did huff on it for the last two images. (I huffed on each one of the last two - just wanted to make it clear on that).
I used a scrap piece of Baked Brown Sugar card stock and the scalloped punch. Then I took a scrap piece of Coastal Cabana and punched out a 1-3/8" circle. And the words were done on the computer and I used the 1-1/4" punch. I set the words layer in place using Dimensionals.
This was an extremely quick card to make and to assemble.
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
