Oh no, not another new "favorite" set!!! I had ordered this "Work of Art" set and it was on backorder. I was not surprised about that. It's such a cool looking set and I wasn't the only one to realize that. SO everyone else got the same idea as I did and ordered one too! Thus resulting in sets being on backorder. My set came last Wednesday and I didn't have time to play with it right away!!! But when I finally did have a few minutes to play with it, I was at a loss as to what to make. SO, I went on Pinterest and found this fun sample to copy! You can see the original card here. My yellows are a bit different. I'm not sure why but it's ok, I like both cards. I do not know who originally made this card. The link provided with the card I found on Pinterest is Google.com.au but it doesn't lead anywhere. So if you know who made this card, please let me know so I can give them credit.
My yellows inks are as follows: Daffodil Delight, Crushed Curry, and Hello Honey. The orange ink is Tangerine Tango and so was the base of the card. I added a rhinestone to the heart and it just completed the card.
The words are from the same set. I took them and added them both to one clear block and I was able to stamp them at the same time. I LOVE being able to do that!
This was a very fun card to make. I can see myself making these in different color schemes and using them as a card set.
This is also a technique. It's called the "Ombre" technique. That technique is very easy. You just find at least three colors in the same color group and go from light to dark or dark to light in your stamping. That's it! Such a simple technique!
This is a very fun and easy card to make and I can see myself making more in the near future!
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
