Oh yes, I'm still making Mother's Day cards. Still on the quest for the one I want to give my mom and the rest will be for sale at the annual garage sale.
I do like this card. It was made by Sandy at Stamp with Sandy. And as usual, I changed it a bit. I am usually drawn to a card because a of a few things on it and once in a while it's the whole card! Sandy's card has a flower in the upper left. I added a scallop to the bottom left. And Sandy's banners don't stick out as far. Upon looking at my card I think I should have taped them in further. But all in all they are pretty much the same card.
I did have a little problem with mine but it ended up being an okay thing after all. When I used my markers (Pear Pizzazz and Melon
Mambo) to color in the image, my stamp must not have been cleaned off from the last use because my stems got a brownish look to them in spots. I used it anyway because it did look pretty natural. But to repeat it, I don't think so!!!! Unless it accidentally happens again.
The colors used here are Melon Mambo, Whisper White, Pear Pizzazz and Basic Gray. The words were done on my computer and they were set in place along with the stamped image, using Dimensionals.
It was a pretty easy card to make!
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
