Another gem I found on the net. This time I was on a German blog. No, I don't read nor understand German but fortunately my computer translates it for me so I get the majority of what is being said. I found this beautiful card here at Corneila's blog, "Nellis Stempeleien". I saw this card and immediately got out the "stuff" to make it. I knew I had everything to recreate it and I was in need of a get well card.
I used Basic Gray card stock for the base, then Strawberry Slush for the next layer and the top piece was stamped using Whisper White card stock.
I used the embossing folder for the framed window. I did have to cut the center out of the window and that was done by hand! UGH. I'm SO lazy now with stamping due to all the dies, matching punches and Sizzlets!!! The leaf branch is done using a Sizzlet and Vellum. The flower is from the "Flower Shop" set and the background was done using the "Gorgeous Grunge" set. Now this is what makes that set deserve the word "Gorgeous!" The words are from the "Express Yourself" Hostess set. The inks used here are Basic Gray, Smoky Slate, and Strawberry Slush.
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
