I honestly don't recall using the Postage Stamp punch. I do remember buying it. I thought it was something I just HAD to have but I don't recall making any cards using it. Though I could have and just don't remember. I don't remember a lot of things anymore!!! LOL
This card is a very quick and simple card to make. I just took a 2" x 2" piece of decorative paper. Here I used Strawberry Slush. Then I punched a piece of Whisper White using the Postage punch. Next I took a scrap piece of Strawberry Slush card stock and punched a small heart in it and then using the 1" square punch I centered the heart and punched it out. That piece had Dimensionals added to it and then set in place on top of the postage punched piece. Then the piece was taped to the decorative paper. And finally the entire piece was taped to the card base. I did attach the piece on with removable tape first so I knew where to put the words. I got smart after a while of many mistakes. I stamped the words and then I added permanent tape to the piece. Many times I have taped the piece down and then stamped the words and got them so crooked or smeared that it was unsalvageable. I hate it when that happens!!! So lately I have been trying to outsmart the stamps by using removable tape and the results have been interesting, I actually get a great image. Go figure!!! LOL
I can not take credit for this card though. I found it at Jen's "Simple & Sincere" blog.
This is a very quick card to make. I actually made 4 extra ones to make a gift set with!
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
