Gorgeous Grunge Bring on the Cake

I have not played with the "Gorgeous Grunge" stamp set enough.  I thought I would play with some bright colors for this birthday card.  

I stamped the image on a 1/4 sheet of Whisper White card stock and just stamped the images three times across the card.  I started in the middle with Daffodil Delight, then I went to Pumpkin Pie and at the very bottom I added the Real Red.  Above the yellow I used Wild Wasabi and above that is Pacific Point.

I added a little more yellow using the smaller stamp with the big splash on it.

I cut the stamped card stock to 2-1/8".  I wish I would have paid better attention to the size, I could have gotten 3 pretty even strips out of it.  And I'm sure I could use the smaller strip on a card but I didn't!  But I did get two cards so that was ok.  

The words are from the "Bring on the Cake" set.  I stamped them using Black StazOn and sponged the edges with Pacific Point.  I used the large scallop punch and Basic Black card stock for the layer.  It's a pretty simple card to make and I did succeed in making a brightly colored card!
