There's snow in our forecast. It won't last because the ground is too warm but still, it's snow and it's heading this way! So in light of that information and with Halloween behind us, it's time for winter and Christmas cards. Though I do have plans for some fall cards.
I thought I would play with the new "Stylish Stripes" background embossing folder. It's such a fun looking impression, isn't it?
The snowflake is from the "Festive Flurry" set. And the decorative papers are from the "Winter Frost" Designer Series paper stack. I just used some scrap strips I had and added them to the background piece. I also added a piece of the silver glitter paper. It looks darker on here than it is in person. I think it was a lighting issue here!
I added some rhinestones to the snowflake and set it in place using Dimensionals.
This would be a great card for all winter long. It could be a Christmas card, a thinking of you card, a get well card and even a birthday card! I just like the simplicity of the card.
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
