Today I had fun making this wintry card. I used the snowflake folder, an oval die, the Festive Flurry stamp set and die and the tree from the "Warmth & Wonder" set
The base of my card is Soft Sky. I think it's such a pretty soft blue color. It helps me not miss Bashful Blue as much! I stamped the tree and the snowflake in the Soft Sky too.
This card was a bit tricky but not too bad. You need to get the tree lined up in the oval. The best way to do that is to trace the oval after you have embossed the piece and cut it out. You can use your Stamp-a-ma-jig to line the tree up inside the oval or just eye it. I eyed it and did pretty well.
Once the tree was stamped I used some Crystal Effects on a toothpick and dotted it all over the tree. Then I used Dazzling Diamonds so the tree had some glitz and glam to it! Then I set the tree part behind the embossed piece. I used Dimensionals to hold it in place and give it a window look.
The snowflake was added using Dimensionals as well. And I also added some rhinestones to the snowflake so it didn't look so plain. It's got some sparkle to it now!
This was fun to make and very easy too!
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
