Betsy's Blossoms with a Fall Touch

Today I needed to make a thank you card.  Actually I need to make several thank you cards.  So I began with this one.  I had found a pretty spring colored card using the "Betsy's Blossoms" set, it was made by Wendy Weixler.  I tried to find the card on her site but I had downloaded this card a while back and of course with no link to it.  UGH!  So if you know the link to her card, please let me know so I can add it to this post. 

Since it is fall I thought I would use darker colors instead of the bright spring tones. I did change up the bottom part of the card a bit too.  I didn't have the same ribbon so I used what I had and added a strip of Tangerine Tango card stock on top of it. Then I printed out the "Thank you" words on my computer and punched them out using the 1-1/4" circle punch.  I had punched out a 1-3/8" circle from Tangerine Tango card stock.  And the scallop is punched from Pumpkin Pie card stock.  

The base of the card is a half sheet of Midnight Muse and the layer on top of that is Tangerine Tango.  I did have to cut the flowers out, which I didn't care much for since there are SO many sets out there that have dies or punches with them.  I have gotten spoiled rather quickly with the punches and dies! LOL

This was a very fun card to make and it will be going out in the mail tomorrow.
