A Halloween Hello

I was surfing blogs and ran across a cute Halloween card by Kath at All That Scrap.  Cute and simple.  Actually the original card is a bit simpler than this one.  Her card has "Happy Halloween" stamped on the top portion with the pumpkin in the image colored in orange.  I didn't have that stamp set so I decided to just use the skull image from the "Halloween Hello" and use circle punches to dress it up a bit.  I chose the skull because of the skull and crossbones in the Halloween Washi tape.  I have used SO much of that Washi tape and there's still a lot left on the spool.  It's SO fun and easy to work with and it really decorates up a card in no time and with little effort!  Ya know ya gotta LOVE that!  LOL

I also changed the background.  The original card has Very Vanilla for the background but I decided to punch up the color a bit and use Pumpkin Pie.  I thought about using black and it was a tough choice but I went with the Pumpkin Pie and I was happy with the way it turned out.  So if you are in need of a simple and quick card, grab your Halloween Washi tape and the "Halloween Hello" set and have some fun!
