I thought this card was SO pretty when I ran across it either off Google images or from a Pinterest search. I'm guessing it was from a Pinterest search. You might be able to see the original card here. It originated from the Stampin' Connection site and you have to be a demonstrator to view cards on that site.
I didn't change anything on this card but the background. The original card was made using the Natural Ivory card stock. I used some type of natural card stock that I had in my stash. I thought it was close enough and pretty enough. It worked for me and that is what mattered today! LOL

I used the "Morning Meadow" stamp set to make this card. The "Happy Birthday" came with the set as well as the branch of little blossoms.
First I stamped the flowering branch using the Primrose Petals ink pad. Then I took my blender pen and removed the ink from the leaves and stems. I added Wild Wasabi to the leaves and Soft Suede to the branches using markers. I huffed on the image and stamped it on the card stock.
Next I stamped the large flower on the same card stock (a scrap piece) and punched it out. I did not clean off my stamp, I just stamped two more flowers on the card stock.
I stamped the "Happy Birthday on a piece of scrap card stock and trimmed it to fit. Once again I did not clean my stamp and I stamped the words up the card until the stamp was dry. Then I set the words and flower in place using Dimensionals. I taped the piece to a half sheet of Primrose Petals card stock and that was it. SO simple and VERY quick too!
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
