Flower Shop

I am having a lot of fun with this "Flower Shop" stamp set.  I got the clear mount one.  To make my stamping and punching easier (mostly the punching) I   marked my stamp so I know where "up" is. I punched out a flower from scrap copier paper.  I set it on my stamp so I knew which petal when where.  For this set you have to line up the flower petals just right.  So to save myself a lot of time I had marked my stamp with an arrow and the word up.  So when I stamp with it I know which petals I want "up" and I stamp my image.  Then I just take my punch and I have very little maneuvering to get it lined up.  It sure makes stamping these flowers a breeze.  I actually made 4 of these cards because I could!  LOL Because punching the flowers was so quick and simple.  Stamping was easy too and I was able to just stamp and punch in no time.

I could have dressed up the flowers more with something in the center but I decided to just leave them as they were.  I think I have made a card like this every couple of years with a new flower stamp.  I like the waves of flowers.

So on the eve of the holiday I am going to leave you with this simple cards!  It will give you something to do while you are waiting for the sun to set so you can go see the fireworks!
