I'm still having fun with the "Flower Shop" set. And yes, I have put it away several times but I keep finding fun cards to copy or finding things on my own to do with it that it doesn't sit on the shelf for very long before I'm taking it out to play with!!
I found this card on the net. No, not on Pinterest. I actually found it through Google Images. Using Google Images saves me LOTS of time because I just want to look at pictures. And I have added the "Pin It" link on my computer so when I see something I like in Google Images I can just pin from there. It's SO much quicker than scrolling down all the time and then waiting for my first screen to come back after pinning. Ok, enough about that. Let's talk about this pretty card that I found and copied it almost exactly like the original.
The original is made by Linda at "Stamping Year Round". This card has lots of fun things going on. It's got textured background, scalloped edge, butterflies, flowers, leaves, scalloped oval and circle, and don't forget the pearls. It's a fairly quick card to do too. And the only stamping on it you'll find are the words, which are from the "Simply Sketched" set.
The original card had some of the new clay flowers in the center of the paper flowers. I did like the look but I didn't have any Pistachio flowers on hand. I have yet to use the flower mold. I was having too much fun with the button mold.
It's a busy looking card but yet appealing to the eye.
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
