I needed a sympathy card. Sad, I know! My cousin died from a short battle with cancer. The funeral is on Saturday and I've been a bit busier than I normally am so I had to make the card today. Which I'm glad I did. It's now done and ready to go.
I used Wild Wasabi for the base of my card and for the ink. The flower was done using Calypso Coral. It just went SO well with the Wild Wasabi.
At first I was just going to go with a smooth background but I thought it may look too blah. Once I get them put together I tend to think that I should have done something textured. So this time I did the texture and I have no regrets!
The flower piece was taped in place and the word piece was set in place using Dimensionals.
It was a simple card to make but I really didn't want anything to detailed. And I didn't find this on Pinterest!!! Shocker, I know!!! LOL
Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
